  1. The Union League is worth a trip to Phildelphia for this purpose alone. It is rich with history and the staff are cordial and gracious!

We spent two great nights here. The rooms were clean and bright, and dining was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great visit in Philadelphia.

    Stayed here September 26th 2012

Very nice facility celebrating their 150th year. Rooms are clean and neat with comfortable bed. Bathroom bright and freshly tiled. The fitness center is of a high quality and large. The best part was the dining at their resteraunt, “1862 by Martin Hamann.” This is a very nice offering and the chef was lifted out of the Four Seasons three years ago. It is not inexpensive but on par for a 4 star resteraunt. Great for a special occaision. Staff was polite, friendly and helpful.

  4. Dr. Frank Helm says:

We were out in Philadelphia visiting our son who just started Temple Law School and had lunch at the 1862 restaurant. It was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and the food/service was excellent. We toured the facilities and were impressed. For our next trip to visit we will definately book a room to stay.
